I was thinking to write about PayPal in Pakistan mystery problem or conflict of Interest in my blog since 9 years. When ever I tried to start I got some new information about PayPal in Pakistan then stopped. This is how 9 years past and till this time no one knows when what where and how there will be use of Paypal in Pakistan.
Many times Ministry of IT and other Govt entities tried to talk to PayPal but never succeeded to bring PayPal in Pakistan. The last effort made by Finance Minister Asad Umar said that Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT), see the details below about this Effort to bring PayPal in Pakistan.
MoITT is given the task to bring/convince PayPal to introduce itself in Pakistan. If it is unable to convince PayPal then a local online payment system will be introduced in the country. Asad Umar is also willing to meet with the PayPal CEO and assure him that Pakistan is a potential market for investment.
Unfortunately nothing happened till this time I am writing this blog. The problem why Paypal is not bringing or opening PayPal for Pakistan ?

According to an estimate Pakistan has around 200,000 freelancers and over 8,000 registered SMEs (small and medium). If you look at stats you will see that a lot of people can use the services of PayPal in Pakistan.

Keeping all the above factors in mind anyone can have a clear picture and idea why there is no Services of PayPal in Pakistan. looks like some forces purposely does’t wants PayPal to start operation in Pakistan.
